ERO, The Beginning….

Generally with an idea, comes excitement. With ERO game gear, that wasn’t the case. Sadly it started because of the passing of a great friend. His name was Eric Rumstick, from Rollingstone, MN. Eric was not only a great friend, amongst other things, he was a great pool player. He shot the ball with ease and grace. Whether he won or lost, Eric could often be seen with a smile, accompanied by a laugh because of a joke or a story. Eric had passed from an “On the Job injury” in May of 2012. He is missed, but his memory lives on in the “Eric Rumstick Memorial Pool Tournament” that over the last 13 years has raised tens of thousands of dollars that has been donated back by ways of…

• Scholarships
• Money given to area schools for student shop projects
• and monetary donations to families as they go through a health battle.

Sometime in 2020 – 2021 I had the idea to take ERO to another level. I wanted a bigger tournament, and I wanted clothing that could be worn by all pool players year round. So in 2022 we created ERO game gear. ERO game gear is a separate entity from the original tournament, but still takes a percentage from every purchase and donates back to a charitable cause.

• Youth Pool
• Monetary donations to families as they go through health battles or a loss
• St. Jude Children’s hospital
• and more…
